Be sure to pick up a Bahay Bag, which are naturally hand-woven with snakeskin trim. Helfrich carries them exclusively in Chicago.
The bubbly owner also works with Chicago designers to stock locally created jewelry and accessories. One of them, Ulia Carella, has gained a small cult following with long-chained, cluster-stoned necklaces that are “delicate, feminine and edgy at the same time,” Helfrich said.
