|After spending years of her childhood sewing with her mother and admiring her grandmother's sense of style, Tracy Reese moved from her hometown of Detroit to New York City to study at Parsons School of Design.|
She first considered a career in architecture, but quickly changed her mind and dreamed of creating her own clothing line.
Following her graduation, Reese worked as a designer at a small contemporary firm with Perry Ellis, among others.
Years later she brought her dream to fruition, and today Reese has two lines of women's apparel - the self-named collection and the more recent Plenty by Tracy Reese.
Since then, Tracy Reese has become synonymous with "feminine-chic," creating a clothing line designed for the modern woman who simply loves to be a girl and truly loves timeless, wearable looks.
Using eccentric colors and lush fabrics & embellishments, each piece of clothing is designed to enhance and celebrate the female form.
Reese recently expanded her incredible design talent and launched a home design & accessories line in spring 2006.
In Chicago, Tracy Reese is sold at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom,Helen Yi, Clever Alice and Della Moda.
