About fashion designer Eileen Fisher:
The inspiration to start her own clothing designs sparked Eileen back in 1984 when she was working as an interior and graphic designer. She incorporated the simple shapes she was using in her work into her clothing designs with a splash of color and the right fabrics that all work together.
This connection of Eileen's two passions became her "aha" moment. She was proud to have created a system of dressing that she'd been looking for ever since she abandoned her Catholic school uniform back in Des Plaines, Illinois.
Eileen Fisher is passionate in using her designs to change the way her customers think and feel about themselves, and she is bringing that mission to Chicago.
In 2011 Eileen Fisher opened her second Chicago-area location and first street-front location in the Block 37 Shops located in downtown Chicago.
