Ballo Restaurant announces its first meatball contest..."Just Roll With It." The restaurant challenges anyone who feels their meatballs can compete with Ballo's beloved dish "Mama's Meatballs" to send in a recipe.
The event will be held Sunday, October 15th. Recipe submissions will be accepted August 15th through September 15th.

A team of Rosebud Restaurant Corporate Chefs will test each recipe at Rosebud's commissary kitchen & corporate headquarters. The chefs will select a group of ten finalists to receive a once in a lifetime opportunity, the chance to prepare their meatballs in Ballo's kitchen and compete for the grand prize. All supplies including official chef jackets will be provided by the restaurant.
On Sunday, October 15th, the ten selected finalists will compete for a full expense paid trip to Las Vegas courtesy of the restaurant as well as honorable mention on Ballo's menu for the month of October. This will be held at Ballo and viewing is open to the public.
Cooking will begin at 11am and continue with an official tasting, judged by a panel of chefs from several Rosebud Restaurants. At 2pm, Ballo will open its doors to the public for the official tasting and festivities. Friends, family and spectators can cheer on their favorite meatball contestant while enjoying complementary "Mama's Meatballs," wood oven fired pizzas and other surprises.
