| Famed chef, Rick Bayless, delivers a mature variety of Mexican festival food, wild game and rare regional specialties with Topolobampo. These attributes and great decor are only a few of the reasons why it was nominated for the prestigious James Beard Foundation Award for "Outstanding Service" in 2005 and "Outstanding Restaurant" in 2002.
Like the adjacent Frontera Grill, the monthly-changing, Mexican-style menu is comprised of organic, custom grown produce and meat raised by independent farmers in sustainable conditions specifically chosen for the restaurant by owner, Rick Bayless.
Topolobampo incorporates a variety of seasonal produce, crafted to perfection. For those who have difficulty deciding amongst the numerous tantalizing choices, a fixed-price Chef's Tasting Menu is available, consisting of soup, salad, appetizer, entree and dessert sampler. For an additional price, the Chef's Tasting Menu suggests an option of five selected wines that are chosen to match the complex flavors and textures chosen by managing chef, Brian Enyart.
A sleek interior of warm colors is amplified with modern Mexican artwork and artifacts from the Bayless private collection. Comfortable seating and music create a relaxing experience to be enjoyed by all the senses.
Open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Saturday, the restaurant suggests making reservations at least two weeks in advance due to high demands. Valet parking is available.
